JR McDowell developed his career in the building industry with two respected Atlanta building companies. His precise oversight and ability to deliver quality design and craftsmanship resulted in homes with finely detailed construction. Today, as company owner, he continues to personally oversee the construction on every new home and redesign/remodel project.

Growing up in Marietta, GA, JR was greatly influenced by a mother deeply involved in the sales and marketing of new homes. He watched the reshaping of Atlanta through the eighties and nineties and knew that this life changing industry was where he belonged. JR completed his BA in English at the University of Georgia and continued on track to build a reputation as a well-respected Atlanta custom builder.

Today JR lives in the ever developing City of Roswell, a community rich with history and well regarded for it’s parks, nightlife and entrepreneurial spirit.

With a total immersion in the construction process, he is respected for his team- approach by both his skilled craftsmen and his thrilled homebuyers. When he is not on the job, he enjoys activities such as trail running, backyard workouts, hiking, shooting, and on/off-road bike rides. “It’s important to stay in touch with the beauty that surrounds us each and every day–adventure as often as you can.”
